I wrote it in the early days when I first moved to Boston, just starting grad school, trying to stay faithful to my long-distance girlfriend, fall turning to winter, and the constant excitement and...stimulation, if you will, of "slipless situations" distracting me from "what that moment in time at the end of the line" would reveal.
