The song features tense verses, where the hero deals with trials and hardship, balanced with a hopeful chorus, where the hero imagines an "oasis in my mind" where all distracting, bad, and unimportant things beyond our control are forgotten. The last chorus leaves us with a powerful sense of impending victory, as if the oasis suddenly comes into view! I wrote this song on guitar and it features my signature "wall of sound" vocals in the choruses and a really cool bridge and lead. I hope you love it as much as I loved creating it. If you're struggling or facing challenges in life, this song can help you feel some realistic optimism for better days ahead!
